PepperPointe Partnerships’ inaugural doctor owner retreat, Ignite, was created to honor and celebrate the doctors who formed the only doctor-owned, doctor-controlled Group Practices in the country. This bi-annual event, most recently held in September of 2023 in The Bahamas, fostered pride and fellowship amongst 200 attendees.
“This time together was a great reminder of what’s possible when we come together with clear alignment to further our mission and serve our teams with excellence,” shared Dr. Greg White, PepperPointe President and CEO. “So much security, protection, and opportunity is created through these entities. And, coming together and strengthening this doctor network through events like Ignite makes them strong, and even more special.” To further celebrate PepperPointe’s doctor partners, an Award Ceremony was held on the last evening of the event. The awards spanned multiple areas of interest and highlighted 2022’s prior achievements.
The Excellence in Financial Performance Awards were presented by PepperPointe Chief Operating Officer, David North, and PepperPointe Chief Financial Officer, Crissy Fiscus. Dr. Jill Price, owner of Jill S Price Dentistry, and the owners of Inman and Baldwin Orthodontics, Drs. Greg Inman and Thomas Baldwin received the honor of this award due to their successful growth and profitability in 2022.
Another award highlighted a practice with a unique culture that has an intentional focus on marketing and works diligently and creatively to maximize opportunities in the community.
The Multi-Faceted Marketing Award was presented by PepperPointe Chief Marketing Officer, Meredith English, and was awarded to Dr. Jim Gleason, owner of Gleason Orthodontics.
The 2022 Distinguished Partner Award presented by Dr. White was awarded to the owner of Pediatric Dentistry of Winchester, Dr. Donna Klein. Dr. Klein has a passion for what PepperPointe is trying to achieve and is known for her commitment to others, positive spirit, and unwavering enthusiasm — all of which exemplify a great partner.
The final award went to an individual who embodies all the elements of enthusiasm with a purpose and has an unwavering commitment to share it with others to truly have an impact in changing the direction of consolidation. The 2022 Impact Award was awarded to Dr. Norm Prillaman, owner of Orthodontic Arts. Dr. Prillaman upholds a reputation of gracefully preserving legacies and a commitment to serving communities and patients — all in an effort to inspire others to do likewise.
The 2022 PepperPointe Award Ceremony recipients were praised for their hard work, servant leadership, and commitment to making a positive impact in their communities and beyond. PepperPointe is honored to serve so many exceptional doctor partners who are dedicated to preserving the dental industry and we’re looking forward to seeing all that they accomplish in the future!
