The PepperPointe team is honored to be attending and exhibiting at this year’s AAO Winter Conference, focused on Exploring the Evolution of the Orthodontic Practice. This year’s topic is important due to the ever-changing orthodontic (and dental) industry landscape.
President and CEO of PepperPointe Dr. Greg White is also speaking at this special event on Saturday, January 29 on A Transition Model That Works. Dr. White will share his journey as an orthodontist over the past nearly 30 years, and outline the current transition models available to practitioners and assess how private equity investments have changed practice valuations in dentistry in general, and orthodontics specifically. “The future of our profession is still in our hands, but only for a short time,” said Dr. White during his keynote session, A Transition Model That Works. “If there’s anybody that thinks that the DSOs, as a result of money being injected by private equity, are not going to have a humongous effect on our profession and on the professionals in it, is being naive. If there is anybody that thinks consolidation is not real and inevitable, they’re being equally naive.”
