“Ignite was truly a special event and a unique opportunity to bring together – for the first time – our doctor partners from all four of our Group Practices,” shared Dr. Greg White, PepperPointe President and CEO. “This time together was a great reminder of what’s possible when we come together with clear alignment to further our mission and serve our teams with excellence.”
Held at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar Resort in Nassau, The Bahamas, 200 individuals, including more than 50 doctor owners from across the country, gathered for an unforgettable weekend full of general sessions, workshops, receptions, and celebrations.
Continuing educational sessions included some of the most well-respected industry leaders and experts. Our keynote speaker, Dr. Mark Hyman, kicked off our inaugural event with an engaging session titled “Fearless Futures”. Followed by breakout sessions on a variety of topics, such as creating a thriving culture in your office, financial independence, associate doctor development, and the do’s and don’ts of marketing. Our first day of sessions ended with a lunch and learn with Jill Allen on “Defining Leadership and Communication Strategies for Teams” followed by a free afternoon enjoying the resort and connecting (poolside) with colleagues.
Sessions on Saturday consisted of a panel discussion on “Industry Trends, Insights, & Predictions” with Holland & Knight health care attorneys Eric Scalzo, Ashleigh VanLandingham, and Daniel Patten. Before more fun in the sun, we dove into specialty-specific breakout sessions on orthodontic metrics, sleep and airway diagnostics, scheduling and case presentation, and innovations in pediatric crown technology.
Special events and activities included a special Welcome Party, Pool Party, Awards Ceremony and Pointe-a-Palooza closing event. The weekend was full of celebrations and PepperPointe is honored to have hosted such an event recognizing our doctor owners for their courage in pioneering the first doctor-owned Group Practices and DSO of its kind.
